Bermuda

Bermuda has just opened its doors to charter yachts, with the passing of the Superyachts and Other Vessels Act 2019. Home to many races such as the Newport to Bermuda, Bermuda is no stranger to superyachts having built many marinas to accommodate them other the years such as the Marina at the Royal Navy Dockyard. With this Bermuda hosts many yachting facilities making it a great pit stop when crossing the Atlantic to re-fuel, take on crew thanks to the airport or general maintenance and supplies. On Top of this if the yacht is brought in by a Bermuda resident there will be no duty to be paid on importing equipment. Bermuda offers superyachts scenic views, great cruising and many activities. The beaches are unsurpassed with pink sand being one of the highlight features, which can be best seen at pink beach. Furthermore, there are many little coves and bays to explore all around the island, with the Pelinaion wreck, an old cargo vessel being a great dive site where you will be able to swim underneath her hull. Of course, there is also plenty to do on land, whether it be playing a round of golf at the Tuckers Point Golf Club or dining at Harry’s one of the best restaurants on the island and an amazing place for steak lovers.
